What should I do? For years, I've been switching from a new product key to product key. I really don't know what I'm doing on the computer and how to fix them accept logging on the internet I'm 21 by the way, please I want Windows Media 11 so bad because it's so much more advance and better, I wanna watch movies and cable TV on it. Everytime I try to download 11, they say I've been convicted of counterfeiting and the geniune validation never goes through and they say I need to buy a Geniune Advantage Key online and a copy of Windows XP CD but I don't wanna do that, I want to download it so I can download Windows Media Player 11. Please tell me the instructions on how to download Windows Media Player 11 and help me get out of this mess. Please!? My product key if you want to know is 88JTM

I went to buy a new pc today at a outlet called pc world.

The sales person said Vista will be 20 times better than XP.

If so what will Vista do that XP wont (make my coffee).

I've looked high and low online and can't really find a clear answer. What I want to know is, does the Vista Upgrade DVD allow you to format your drive, wipe XP and do a clean install. I have no intention of doing an "in-place" upgrade of XP. I know there are several versions of Vista, let's just assume they are all the same when it comes to this one issue.

If it does... do you need your XP CDs for validation because I have no idea where they are and my laptop didn't even come with them... it has a restore partition...

I have old HP desktop with PIII and 256MB Ram. I still used Windows98SE and thinking to change it to linux so that I can get better speed for browsing internet.
Is it enough for linux OS?Any suggestion of which Linux OS that I can used and easy to install?
