I need some help here i have bought a webcam with the brand name sun tech although the man said there was an installation CD there wasent one it is plug and play but although windows recognised id plugged it in it wont play it a friend said i needed drivers but where do i get them all it says is V 211 Drivers help please how can i install it????????????........

If you look on the box your webcam came in there should be a web adress on it type that in search there you will find the drivers you need download them and your cam will work.

Most of "no name" cams should work with MSN by default while yahoo and skype are questionable, It is EXTREMELY important to keep track of the driver CD that come with the camera. It is unlikely you will be able find drivers for less popular, no name brands or old models after the cameras are discontinued. However there are some generic drivers that you can try and find on this site:

Have a root around on the internet for downloadable drivers, should find something! One I would try is drivers.com, you need to register first, but you should find something. Or even try the manufacturers website, they too should have product support and host drivers. Failing that, take it back and get one with a CD ROM present!

go to the Sun Tech website and I would bet they have free drivers to download.

you could try driver guide or look for it on download.com
if its plug and play you may have to get a update from
windows as long as your windows is original good luck

Take it back - if there should have been a CD take it back to the shop to get the CD.
Secondly try using all the USB ports first...

staring on the define, it style of feels that it does require you to have a completely useful disk force to place in utility. It says that there is utility. and it is not going which you will detect a webcam that doesnt require it
