You will have to go purchase a legit copy. Thur Windows Validation ( now required) it is impossible to update copied software. That is why they made that change. Sellers on ebay sell legal copies for a average price of $80 for XP home. I would recommend using legit software. Without updates and security patches you will soon find your machine in danger of windows .exe virus attacks and other issues. It is a bad way to try to save money.

You can search for ways to upgrade with such a copy by going to www.torrentspy.com/latest.asp? using Azureus.
You can also find better bundled OSs on there as well, that have better explorers.
However, I suggest you use Firefox 2.0
