CCleaner free will delete old registry values, temporary files, uninstall programs and remove unwanted startup items. It is very easy to use and I have never had a problem with it.

for an anti virus you should download avast home free from www.avast.com and for spyware download both adaware se personal and spybot search and destroy. Also to clean your computers files up use ccleaner, you can find these things on google. hope this helps

Listen to Jackie_19 she knows what she is talking about. The first answer was correct also; but I don't trust the adware remover programs they have caused some problems with my system before.

what are you scanning for? if virus, try aVast, if spyware then try ad-aware. If registry then try cCleaner.
