Ok, I have An NVidia GeForce MX 4000 Graphics card on my Windows Vista Desktop, and I have a tough problem. When I start up my machine, It starts up ok, the startup where it says "(C) 2006 MS Corp." works, the startup sound works, then it goes to where it says 'welcome', and then the whole screen turns to black, I could only move the mouse and stuff, and when I got to Ctrl-Alt-Del and go to the task manager, I open explorer.exe, and it still doesnt work... this card only works under safemode......does anyone know what the prob. is? Do I have to get a driver specifically for Vista? If so, where? )I can not find a driver (vista) for this card on NVidia's site)
thanks,
Murphjames

Visit a local retail computer store. Spend at least 1 hour there observing the latest products in storage, input and output devices, and software.
• Create a 700-1050 word report, formatted according to APA guidelines, that addresses the following points:
1. Did this store have products that represented each major component of an information system? Name a current product that represents each major system component:
i. Input
ii. Storage
iii. Output
2. From the store’s software section, identify a current product for:
a. Systems software
b. Application software
3. Consider a business use of the application software you described. How would you use the software? Name each of the hardware and/or software components that would be required to fully utilize this application.

I am not very good with computers and need help. Thank you

My computer, used, came without the software disks/cds. The OS needs to be reloaded. Of course, stores and probably Microsoft too only offer more up to date software which I am unsure that my computer can handle. Buying a new computer is not an option at the moment.

I understand that if I want to install any Windows Upgrade versions onto an EMPTY computer, I will be prompted to insert a disc to prove I have a previous version of windows.

I want to know if this can be an Upgrade or OEM disc.

Eg

-I want to install a Windows Vista Upgrade version....
-When it asks me to insert a previous windows disc, can I use a Windows XP Upgrade or OEM disc? Or does it have to be a full version disc?
