Is anyone a computer wiz that can help me with this assignment. unable to get to a computer store no car?

Question

Visit a local retail computer store. Spend at least 1 hour there observing the latest products in storage, input and output devices, and software.
• Create a 700-1050 word report, formatted according to APA guidelines, that addresses the following points:
1. Did this store have products that represented each major component of an information system? Name a current product that represents each major system component:
i. Input
ii. Storage
iii. Output
2. From the store’s software section, identify a current product for:
a. Systems software
b. Application software
3. Consider a business use of the application software you described. How would you use the software? Name each of the hardware and/or software components that would be required to fully utilize this application.

You can do the same by browsing a compute store online. Physically going there makes no sense. The assignment is only product related and has nothing to do with business practices. A brick and mortor experience vs. an online experience will still have the same results.

For application software, I would mention Microsoft Office Professional since it has a place in the Business world as well. An easy topic.

im thinking like all the there res there are so many but would like to say a little more ram and installing new hard drive at least have 2 sticks of 512 this will help you out a lot as thoses compresed files they are all the files stored on your hard drive but a defrag might be inorder this will increase some speed but not much as defraging only orgnizes the files on your pc's hard drive physicaly but it will make disk acess a little better or you could index your drive this will help some in searching for files but with out at least a new hard drive it wont get much from doing nothing your ram seems fine

This sounds like a school assignment. Perhaps you should speak to your teacher about your inability to get to a computer store, and get an alternate assignment.
