Is it possible to run an emulator such as Project 64, an N64 emulator, in place of an existing operating system without removing it? BTW, the OS is Windows 98.

AFAIK these old OSes do not have the hardware drivers for the new gear. If You had drivers You would run the old OS directly.

Emulator means that You run windows 98 and emulate the old systems functions. So host OS runs the new hardware for the emulation.

The prob with drivers: You may already know from 98 - some new hardware does not have drivers for You.

BTW. I would use OS/2 - if i had free drivers for my hardware.
