hard to say, the only sure way is to run Norton on the stuff you've downloaded, or if you have an up to date firewall program it will pick it up, there really is no way to tell if what you re downloading contains malicious code or not just by looking

Limewire's not a virus, but since it shares so many files with people all over the world, you can end up getting a virus from something you download

The way that you find out if it is a virus just scan your antivirus i recommend norton or Nod32. They are the best. And limewire don't have a virus it just takes up a lot of memory. but what you download on it might have. i would recommend you doing a virus scan just to be on the safe side. Good luck. Hope it helped.

if you don't like using limewire use frostwire instead. it doesn't crash all the time like limewire did, so it's a better all round in the long run.

It can be hard to tell. If it's size is irregular or it has some strange information or name then don't. Try to avoid download .exe programs as they are usually the cause of viruses.
