Are their any FREE (not trials or any rubbish like that) audio editing packages out there that can take a song that has combined voice and instruments and split it? AV Music Morpher claims to do this, but for a price. So that's out. Any freeware that can do it?

I tried adding them to the Window's Media Player, but you have to have the DVD inserted for the files to play.

Windows Live Messenger will not open..........
(got lots of friends on live messenger please help)

Hi,

Whenever I download any mov file in limewire, it always turn out to be different from it's file name. Example: after I downloaded a file named "Singapore model", when I play it, it turn out to be some "US porno". I have tried many times on different mov files and they it plays is always different from the file names.
But whenever i downloaded mpg or avi, i don't encounter this problem. Can anyone here advise me pls? Did any of you experienced this? And why is mov file always so small in Limewire? only about 1,240KB.

I am using VLC Media Player.

Hello everybody!!!

I have a great problem with my computer. I use mozilla firefox and when I want to see videos, it says "Can not create Directshow player". So I posted a question like this one and the only way for me to see videos using firefox is by unistalling and installing media player again. The problem is that when i wanna unsistall media player, I cannot find the program in "the remove or add" icon in the Control Panel. All i can see is view point media and the media player updates. can anyone plz help me!!! I tried to reinstall it again because it did not open for some reason when I clicked the media player's shortcut icon and it did not open when i wanted to see a video in my computer but it was useless. help!?!?!

My computer works fine, but then 2 hrs after I browse online, etc. all of a sudden pages won't load anymore. I have DSL and it shows that I'm still connected but pages won't load anymore (as if I wasn't connected). I'll restart and it'll work again, but 2 hrs later it happens again (it's always close to the 2 hr mark) Any ideas?

Using Excel or OpenOffice I am curious how I find only the sum of only the positive numbers / figures in a column? Also I am wondering if there is a way to find the sum of all numbers of a certain colored text in a column and in the whole sheet. I know how to get the sum of numbers within a certain range of a column with using the =sum(A#:A#) but need to be able to get the sum of only the positive numbers as income as the negative amounts would not be deductible debt. Thanks.

I believe mt xp system is corrupt, how can I repair or reinstall if I only have the original restore disk from emachines? I dont want to restore the entire contents of the computer, just the windows-can this be done?

I opened the "Properties" for the folder, and verified that it's NOT set to "read only". Also, I am administrator on this machine.

Oh, I also tried booting into safe mode and deleting it from there. No dice.

I also can't look inside it by selecting it in Windows Explorer.

Any help would be great! -Paul
