Are their any FREE (not trials or any rubbish like that) audio editing packages out there that can take a song that has combined voice and instruments and split it? AV Music Morpher claims to do this, but for a price. So that's out. Any freeware that can do it?

I already have Audacity, how can I do that with Audacity?

This is possible only for certain stereo tracks. When the vocals are exactly the same on both stereo channels, you can remove them by “subtracting” one channel from the other. This works for many studio recordings, where the vocal track is mixed exactly in the centre.

u can use nero converter which we could you no longer in uncomplicated terms edit tracks yet in addition convert them to diff format.. or u could additionally use a 3gp converter that's superb suitable for cellular telephones... :)
