I opened the "Properties" for the folder, and verified that it's NOT set to "read only". Also, I am administrator on this machine.

Oh, I also tried booting into safe mode and deleting it from there. No dice.

I also can't look inside it by selecting it in Windows Explorer.

Any help would be great! -Paul

Often when nothing else works, booting up the pc and going into Safe Mode with just the command prompt and not Windows will do the trick. Then just go to the parent of the "Empty" folder and type in: RMDIR EMPTY (and hit enter) and that should do it.

This is weird.
A folder named "Empty"
You can right-cl and check Properties, but you can't double-cl and open?
You right-cl on it and cannot "delete"?

Have you run an antivirus program in Safe Mode?

I'm stuck. I'd be interested in knowing your solution.
