is it possible? i shut down my computer without saving and booted back up and its nowhere. again, i did not save it.
is there any way i could find it? is it gone for good?
please please please help!! :(

ah! my bad! it wasnt wordpad, it was a notepad document?
and ps where the hell is the temp files folder?? thanks!

I can only help by saying that it is gone for good. Windows only deletes the tempfiles you want to keep.

If your computer crashed, there may be a tempfile hanging around with a fragment of your document. If you closed Notepad yourself without saving, that would have removed any temp files and you're out of luck.

unhappy to declare, yet that's not applied in Wordpad, or a minimum of from what i've got skilled. the comparable element occurred to me, and that i replaced into compelled to redo it. advice: espresso. stable luck.

What operating system are you using XP, 98, 95 ? As a quick fix, go to SEARCH and searich for *.doc and see what shows up. Good Luck!

Word pad doesn't have an autosave like word or wordperfect. You might look in your temp files though. look by time and date and you may get lucky.

Nope it's history type it again always save your work even half way you never know what can happen.
