run in the menu settings

I'm not sure what you mean about "installing" Run in the Start menu, but if you're looking for a shortcut, did you know you could just click on the Windows key+R to open the Run box? There's really no reason to install it anywhere.

Ohhhh...are you using Vista? Apparently it's not there anymore (bummer). Here's some instructions to get it back:

1. Right-click on the Start menu; choose Properties
2. Click on the Menu tab, then click on the Customize... button.
3. Make sure the "Run command" option is checked.

That should do it!

Go to start, then control panel, click appearance and themes, then taskbar and start menu. Click start menu and then customize. Under the advanced tab, go down the list and make sure the box beside Run command is checked.
