i tried to install IIS but it wan't be able ti install the IIS because it is home edition version. Is there any solution for this problem??

I posted a question last night and some people kindly responded to my questions, but I'm afraid I didn't get a right answer. This time, I leave a link to a page that I found that is very similar to what I want to do, so please look at the page after reading my question and teach me how to do it if you know. I am making a website with Dreamweaver MX now, and there is somethings I cannot figure out. I want to have a page to show some pictures, a page with lots of small icons(small images) next to one large image, and as I click on the small images, the large image changes into them on the same page(with no frames). Does somebody know how to set this? I'd find a website with such a page if you are not sure what I'm talking about. Thank you very much.

whenever i try to update files and security messages from ms, i get the error code 0x80004005 and it won't allow me to download anything. i get the same code whether i try to use express or custom features. anyone know what the code means?

I have a PC which runs XP . It was working fine until the other day when I came home from work. I booted the PC and it went into the safe mode screen. I hit every option on the screen, it starts to load, then it goes right back into safe mode. No matter how many times I do it, it goes back to safe mode. How can I fix this?

Ok, I have a Laptop I purchased new in 2002 it came with Windows 2000 Pro. I still have the disk and the Cd Key that came with the laptop and OS. my hard drive crashed and I attempted to re-install but received invalid cd Key. Called microsoft and they issued me a new CD Key for Win 2000 pro. Tried useing that key and still getting the same error message, Called Microsoft back and they said there is nothing more they can do but transfer me to technical Support and because it is 2000 Pro it will cost me 243$. Has anyone else ran into this problem and what can I do? Again this is MY valid cd and Key and also the new Key from M$ that will not work on installation. Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you

it seems that the list goes on and on,what is the difference of dvd,dvd-r dvd+r,dvd+rw , cd, and on and on seems there are as many variations as there are keys on my keyboard..can someone give me a quik lesson also, i have movies i would like to burn but get a message that file is to large, what can i do and how do i do it

when i double click on a folder, it opens up in a new window rather than opening in the same window.

i checked tools>>folder options but everything was fine there.
in the general tab, under the browse folders section, OPEN EACH FOLDER IN SAME WINDOW WAS CHECKED.

i dont seem to understand what the problem is.

Downloaded the new internet explorer & ithink its called.
provided by yahoo. Was runnig the old one again provided by yahoo, had NO probs.

I have not done any windows updates. Most of them have to do with security. I have trend micro installed on my computor and i've heard it's not good to have more than one anti-virus's. Would doing a security update be like having two systems on my computor? The reason I ask is my computor seems to be running fine without it. on installation history it shows I have not installed any updates.
