I will be on the computer going to a website and the computer just freezes. It says Microsoft Explorer is not responding and when it asks if you want to send an error report, there are two items in the C drive mentioned. I have tried to look for them, but they I can't find them. Does anyone have any suggestions about this because the problem is really annoying!

I want to create an alert message when someone type in the wrong number. for example, only values from 1 to 50 is acceptable. If one keys in 67, a message will pop up.

I still have a windows 98 and I have a powerpoint presentation to turn in but its too big for a floppy. I believe it is too big because I added jpg as backgrounds. Could I free more space by just using the preset backgrounds? If the size won't change no matter what, what is a good data cd burner I could use that wouldn't be too much hassle?

I have a sony vaio that until recent times worked like a charm. The computer is about 4 yrs old and has been used alot. One day i turned it on and it just froze at the windows loading screen. What could this be. If the is the operating system how could this be fixed.

This happened all of a sudden. We had a couple of power outages and windows was stopped and then started incorrectly, but that has not bothered my computer before. What can I do to fix this. The machine will not boot. When I go to system setup, the primary drive is listed as unknown drive, like it can't even see it.

I have some AVI (DivX) video files on my PC and would like to know how to burn them directly to a DVD so that I can watch them in my DVD player. I don't want to have to convert the files before I burn them.
