I still have a windows 98 and I have a powerpoint presentation to turn in but its too big for a floppy. I believe it is too big because I added jpg as backgrounds. Could I free more space by just using the preset backgrounds? If the size won't change no matter what, what is a good data cd burner I could use that wouldn't be too much hassle?

Please and thank you

P.S. I've seen Junk Drive packages that say they are compatible with Windows 98 SE but I need to wdownload a driver, is that a better option to buy one like that or do junk drives and Windows 98 not work all that well together?

Windows 98 will support most CD drives without having to install a driver. However, you will have to install burning software. It should come free with the CD drive. (You would have to add the burning software with any version of Windows).

Removing the pictures from the background of your PP presentation will reduce the size. You might also consider dividing it into two sections and save each on a separate floppy.
