I have some AVI (DivX) video files on my PC and would like to know how to burn them directly to a DVD so that I can watch them in my DVD player. I don't want to have to convert the files before I burn them.

Nero will do it but I dont think it will play on your DVD player. I use WinAvi to convert mine first and then burn it with Nero and they play fine in my DVD player....hope that helped.

some dvd players are divx compatible phillips 642 and phillips 942 dvd recorder. Both are available at kmart walmart and comp usa. They play most any video format you can put 7 or divx files on one dvd you can also burn to a cd with xp with just send to cd and the phillips will play them.
