Download and install the free Belarc Advisor from download.com. It will give you a list of all the hardware and software installed on your computer. With the software listing it gives you the serial number used for each program when it was installed. Hopefuly the number you want will be listed among them.

Goto Start -> Search. In the dialog box enter *.* in the upper box and enter the a digit that you remember or a sequence of digits that you remember in the lower box.
Click Search Now.
You will get a large number of files having these digits, open those files which you consider may contain your 25 digit code.

Sometimes it is not on your computer. Sometimes it is glued to the case or folder that your Windows CD shipped in.
