The program is right in Windows XP. Open "my computer", open drive "C". click on tools and you will see a box where you click on to have your system check files/folders for errors on your next boot.

When you reboot your system will run a complete file/folder system check. If there are any errors Windows XP will fix them. If there are none that your system will load all your program onto your monitor.
