whenever i try to download any windows application like server pack 2 or directx 9.0c and windows 11, it tells me my copy of windows is not genuine, how can i overcome this problem

The final release of IE 7 was made available on Tuesday. I downloaded it last night but I could almost swear that words and letters don't seem as sharp. Perhaps it's my monitor or my eyes but even when I hit the auto reset button on the monitor, nothing seems to focus quite as sharply as before the download. Thanks.

If you setup encryption on an NTFS file and then move the file to a FAT partition will the file lose it encryption so that anyone can read the file?

I have done a little bit of recording with Sound Recorder which comes with Windows, but it can only record up to one minute at a time and can only succesfully save in WAVE format. I am looking for a free downloadable program which can record any length of time, and can save in either MP3 or WMA format at 96 or 128 kbps.

I had read that you can plug one or two jump drives in and dedicate a portion of the space available as RAM in Windows Vista. I was just looking around today and was not able to find this anymore? This was a few months ago and it may be something that was cut out or was just a myth. Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge on this. Thanks.

I'm trying to download LimeWire, but my computer keeps coming up with the error "Security Warning, Publisher: Unknown Publisher, The file download has been blocked because it does not have a valid digital signature." It only gives me the option "Ok". I have tried lowering my security settings, but that hasn't worked. Is there another way around this problem?

I get the following messages when I try:

"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel."

"Last error: 1155"

"Unable to launch AOM File.
CreateProcess return code: 10806852"

What do these mean and what can I do? I'm running on XP.
