when I hi to make yahoomy home page it keps on going to the SBC homepage then I have to click the Y to get the home page I want.

go to yahoo.com then go to Tools > Internet Options > and click Use Current.

very easy.open ur internet explorer.click on tools option on the top...then on 'internet options'.write down the url of the site that u wanna make ur homepage..there u r! or simply,click on the'Make Y! my homepage' option that comes free with the yahoo! home page!!........good luck!

Go up to "tools" and then "internet options" and then where it says homepage, type in the internet address for yahoo and click "apply" and then "ok".

Yep. And no matter how many times or how many ways you tell it to make yahoo your home page, it keeps going back to SBC, right?
The issue is in your antivirus/antispyware software. It's set to keep programs from maliciously resetting your home page (and also keeps you from doing so).
Unplug from the internet, then disable all your antivirus, firewall and antispyware software. Then set www.yahoo.com as your home page in IE properties. Make sure it takes. Then, re-enable your protection and plug back in.

open internet explorer properties and type the addy in the box, click apply.
