Software - October 2006

My medical office is considering switching from digital transcription equiptment to voice-recognition software. Does anyone have experience with type of software being used versus standard transcription? Any feedback will be appreciated, thanks.

Major MSN problem..it freezes whenever I opened it...see, I've tried uninstalling it, using 7.5 instead of live and still would freeze. Now, even my sister's msn is failing...we share files but no virus for sure, checked it twice. It wouldn't even open somtimes. Really unhappy with web messenger, and can't study without fixing it..it's bothering me!! =< I HATE MSN

What will happen if I use my microsoft office disk and put the program on another computer with the same code I already used?

I was messing about with the controls trying to improve recording quality and multiple inputs and then when I tried to record again it didn't work. What could I have clicked that stopped it recording any sounds?
ps - Windows XP.

I've noticed within the past year that my computer has been acting up and I know it's because of my antivirus and or spyware, but should I update to a newer verison of windows xp as well and if so can anyone give my an estimate of how much that will cost?

i just bought the driving test success all tests pc/dvd, which says it includes a digital version of the highway code in it, where you can view, search and print... but i cant find this anywhere in any of the options! can somebody who has it tell me where it is found on the options please? thanks!

When I try to open my limewire a dialogue box pops up with a email address to bugs@limewire.com. I have the full version of it but I don't have a CD to it. I am afraid if I uninstall it I will delete it forever and that I won't be able to fix it, what can I do to make it work again?

New to the program, and haven't touched Premiere since my old high school days (long ago). I can figure out how to do most everything in this version, except for one glaring problem. I'm sure the answer is simple, and I'm stupid for not getting it, but... I need help.

Clip resolution.

My project is at 320x240 (it's for a web video). My clip is a good bit larger. How do I go about having it conform to the size of my project? As it stands, it's simply showing the 'center' of the too-large-clip, with a whole lot happening out of view, around the edges of it.

Besides Daemon Tools, it has WhenU which is considered a high threat spyware. I installed it and all my spyware programs and my firewall threw up red flags.
