I know there are add on programs or "toolkits" that help people making financial models be more efficient. Can someone point me in the direction as to where I might find/download a few of these - for free ideally...Thanks.

I have a free open-source add-in that can allow you to download specific data items from financial web pages. It currently can retrieve thousands of different data elements, including data from Yahoo, Morningstar, Reuters, Google Finance, AdvFN, etc. It is supported at:
