See if there is a label on the side of the computer that says windows with a ID number beside it. You may be able to call Microsoft and have then add it if it came originally with the computer. It would be on the hard drive. Microsoft Product and Support services telephone # (425) 635-7222. Good luck!

You mean Windows? You could probably get a pirated copy, but the honest thing to do is to buy an operating system, ie., XP, Vista, etc.
Pay attention when buying computers -- make sure they come with an operating system!

Do you have a friend who has the installation package? If so you could borrow it and install it or else you'll have to buy the package at Office Max or somewhere or take you computer to a computer store and pay them to install it.

Even if you do find a pirate copy of windows you will never be able to update it or protect it from security holes you're better off finding a different operating system, theres loads of free ones around

If you want free, you'll have to use Linux.
Otherwise, buy a Windows CD.

not free, unless you just borrow a friends installation cd or use another computer to download a pirated version if you so choose.

Borrow one. I've been using a bootlegged Win98SE OS for, well, since '98. Just remember to get the key.

Not legally - buy a copy of windows.
Other operatins systems are sometimes free - such as linux .. but that might be a little too advanced.

You really don't need a window if you have any air vents on the side of the tower... they will provide enough cooling air flow.
