There is not "a QuickTime" as such but maybe you mean the ".mov" format. Usually, it is not necessary to convert to .mov if you have QuickTime version 7 which can easily play MPEG-4 files. QuickTime versions prior to version 7 cannot open MPEG-4 files. And if they can't open the file, the Pro key will not help to convert any unopened file. For those versions, you would need some other conversion option such as "Any Video Converter" shareware to convert to .mov or MPEG-2.

BTW, QT Pro does not come with most Apple computers. It is a pay-extra download.

Quicktime pro, which comes/came with about 95% of all Macs should be able to do the trick.
