I have encountered a .ps file. It sucks as I don't have the required software to open it on windows. What do I need? Is there any such software available on the Internet for free?

I think a .ps file is a postscript file which is usually sent to the printer. A pdf application should be able to convert it to a readable file.

Hello

Do you mean .psd? It's an Adobe Photoshop file.

Anyway, you can use ACDSee to view .psd files (and any files like .gif / .jpg / .bmp). It's really useful for viewing all types of picture files.
Good luck.
