Software - October 2006

HELP!!!

One of Symantec's support sites tells me I need to uninstall and reinstall my Norton Internet Security 2006 - making use of their uninstall utilities. There are a couple of them and NEITHER work, - whether run online or downloaded to my computer. I keep getting errors with them and am constantly asked to send an error message to Microsoft (very irritating).

Does anyone know where I can find instructions to do it the "manual" way? I've wasted enough time trying to uninstall this piece of Symantec sh_t.

I have found instructions for previous years, but I need the 2006 version. I am comfortable in editing registries etc. so don't worry about those warnings.

I typed in regedit at the start, run hit enter the registry comes up and then go to hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\internet explorer\Main .... the start page cannot be modified .. how do I do this ... thank you ....

I have just downloaded Skype... i clicked on it and it didn't open i have reset my comp, i tried downloading it again... I have unistalled it, reinstalled it... Please Help! Anyone know what it could be?!

Hi, i mean i have copied a cd and i eith CloneCD then i want to put an folder more what can i do when i am going to put one it tells me that the cd is full or it is not rerwitable but the disk has 50MB and the folder is 2 MB! Please help i really need this CD!@!@!

Why is it when the person I am talking that (both of us has webcam) their picture stays on while typeing a message, but when I type a message I lose there picture untill I click om the bottom. Only when I type theirs disapear. They don't have the problem.

its on portrait right now and when i went to page setup to change it the landscape oart wasnt highlighted so i couldnt click it. now when i print out my images they come out half way. what should i do?

I just got the LG chocolate phone by verizon...I LVOE IT! i hav emusic on it and everything...i read someplace that if you have videos that are mp4 files than they will go on the phone...so i took an mp4 video i had went to "my computer" and dragged and dropped the vide into the "my flix" section....i got the video on the phone but when i played the ideo it was really slow...the audio worked the the video was lagging a lot....hwo can i fix this?

i have seen a program that lets you download and change the start up and log off screen and also changes the color of your start menu and changes the looks of the folders.doesn anyone out there know what i am talking about? i hope because i dont know how to explain it.
