Can I pickup my Yahoo Email from a standard Email client (like Mail on the MAC)?

Sorry, Yahoo only allows external access to their email if you subscribe to their Yahoo Mail Plus service.

There are probably work-arounds that "screen-scrape" the Yahoo webmail interface, but they are unsupported by Yahoo and likely very fragile.

sure. Just look at pop3 settings under the yahoo mail page (search for it in help)

I am able to check my e-mail on my friend's PC by going to www.yahoo.com, then logging in.
