click on the search tab and follow the instructions. if u can remember one or two words from the doc, try advanced search. also type in the date it was last modified and the computer will search for it. u can also try recent documents or history.

check your recycle bin, if it's there, then restore it. if it's not, there are programs that can retrieve it, such as tune up, or any others. good luck.
