In Windows, it's really easy to close a window by mistake when you want to maximise it as these symbols are side by side. In comparion, the up and down/left and right arrow symbols on sliders should be side by side for convenience but are opposed. Is this just bad design or is there a purpose?

Whenever I play a video through Windows Media Player, the picture is too dark to view properly. Is there a way to adjust the color so that it's bright enough to see? Serious help only please. Thank you. <*)))><

is it safe to delete? my anti virus says it has a virus but it is located in the system32 folder, if i delete it maybe windows will stop running or wont boot again. do you have the same file? what are your thoughts?

Windows 98 and Excell 2000 allowed me to do that. Also the Tab key would take me to the next column. With XP and Excell 2003, Tab takes me across the window. I cannot find anywhere in the program where I can change that function of the buttons. Please help. I do a lot of financial reports in Excell 2003. Using the arrow keys instead is cumbersome.

I need a solution. It like when i on my comp, it will appear a black screen for 10 minutes and then there will be a status bar appear telling me how many % complete in grey block and black background. and there's nothing, no title or anything but only the grey blocks (like hibernating). At first i thought something in my system 32 file is missing which happened 2 times already but it's not...Pls Help Me......

i have just bought a new pc and have installed a firewall, antivirus, and turned automatic updates on. is there any other software to help protect my pc and keep it running well that i can download off the internet? I have an XP reinstallation disk and want to make a copy (in case I lose/break the original). I tried just copying the content to my hard drive then burning it to a CD, but when I restart, the system doesn't prompt me to startup from the CD drive.

Any Ideas?

I was using pc security by troposoft a long time back. unfortunately I forgot the password. without knowing this I locked my e and f drives. now the problem is I'm unable to save or delete anything in those drives but I can only read what is left in those drives. I even don't know the software's serial no.. if I try deleting it using add/remove programs it asks to unlock it using the password. what shall I do?
