A) The scroll bar is the long 'strip' at the side and bottom of a window - if you move it you can go up and down and side to side.
B) A document window is simply a page on which you are working
C) the cursor is the little 'flashing' thin line you see just in front of where you're typing
D) the insertion point is where your cursor is, either just before your text, or where you move it to with your mouse.
Hope it helps.

A: The scroll bar is between the 2 arrows on the righthand side, and bottom of the screen that you use to scrolll through the document. Left click on any of the arrows, and the document will move.
B: The document window is the part of the screen where you see the document displayed and you enter your text.
C: The cursor is the little line you see flashing in the document window.
D: The insertion point is where that line is flashing. i.e. if you scroll through a document and find you've missed a word out, you put the cursor there by left clicking the mouse, and this becomes the insertion point.
Hope this helps.

the scroll bar is the vertical bar on the right hand side of the screen that lets you go up and down the page...
the document window is where you see "the paper" where you type on...
the cursor is the little vertical line where the letter appears as you type it
insertion point I'm not sure, probably the place where the cursor is
edit.. dang, too slow again :(

The Scroll Bar looks like a long ruler...it usually goes top to bottom but can also go left to right. It is usually on the left side of the page. Select VIEW on top of the page...choose print lay out or any other VIEW until you see it. Teh cursor is the blinking thingy...insertion point is where you put it! FYI, there is a help button in word that is very useful for these basic questions...also I recommend thevideoprofessor.com.
