If you have cloned the CD, you can't put that image plus more data onto a CD. There is metadata on the original CD saying how much space is used and how the files are organized and whether the CD is closed or not. Cloning copies this data and doesn't allow any room for adding to it.

It's best to copy the individual files from the original CD, then add your extras, then burn the whole thing to a CD.

Once when you burn data or music to a CD that is CD-R you cannot change the data in it; you cannot add more data, edit or remove the data you have in it. But if you have a CD-RW it works like hard disk; you can add, edit and remove as much as you want. If you don't know what these CD-R and CD-RW things are check out in Wikipedia, for example. There are many sites which give very clear explanations.

First, in order to write more to a CD after you initially write something on it, you will need to have a CD RW burner and CD RW CD's. If you do not have re-writable CD's, then you will only be able to write to them once.

Additionally, if you "finalize" a CD, you will not be able to re-write to it regardless of what type of CD it is. Hope this helps.

you need to make a new CD, dont copy it. copy the files to your hard drive then make a new one. CD+R (which is what your proabbly have) can only be written once.

that means that the cd is not not rerwitable.
