why won't my paint document turn to landscape?

why won't my paint document turn to landscape?

its on portrait right now and when i went to page setup to change it the landscape oart wasnt highlighted so i couldnt click it. now when i print out my images they come out half way. what should i do?

MS Paint isn't very good with portrait and landscape modes. I would try using a better image editing program.
