Sorry, I am not aware of any settings or program which will automatically shut down your system after a download. Go to:

http://www.cnet.com/dowloads

There look for utilities or tools or such for any program which may do what you are asking. At this site there are hundreds of software programs, some which cost but allow a trial period, others are free or shareware. You can view the details of the program and read reviews of those who have used them, and see an over all rating.

Good luck and I hope you find what you are looking for. Have a nice day.

Estimate the length of time you think it will take for the download to complete.
Set your power options accordingly. For example:

cl Start
cl Settings
cl Control Panel
cl Power Options

On the Power Schemes tab, set the monitor and computer to shut off after 1 hour of inactivity.

you can have the monitor shur down and pc to standby ,right click mycomputer, click on properties .click on screen save ,tab click on power tab ,but it is not good to have the pc on 24/7 or on standby 24/7 if there is a power cut off this can damage the motherboard if your pc is power is plug in 24/7,remove the power plug .from the wall outlet
