Running XP, had a massive crash, may be virus related, but it got though Norton, and two spyware/malware checkers etc.

Only thing was to repair XP, would not work, neither would Recovery Console. So decided to buy new Hard Drive, for a clean install.

How do I get all My Documents off the old slave, as my backup is a week old, and there is some stuff missing. The old My Documents will be locked.

Any info would be appretiated.

Regards

Frankie

Whenever I download anything DAP 8 says that it is not the default download manager. Then it asks to set it default. When clicked on yes it says your browser needs to be restarted. Then the download starts. In every download this happens. My OS is WIndows XP Pro SP2

My sister has burnt a CD for me, but when I go to 'My Computer' and wave my mouse over it, it says 0 bytes. Why is this? I can play the trakcs in the CD, but I can't rip them to my computer. I want to rip them with Windows Media Player so i can copy them onto my iPod. Any ideas?
Thank you :)

Does that make sense to anyone. My head says that if it's a pure copy or iso image of the original, then it should work the same???

At 52,I want to set up a website of no more than 8 pages maximum.I want a website firm that has a beginners package,is exceptionally user-friendly and has simple, clear instructions & diagrams in non-technical English. Also,it must have an easy to read guide and have step-by-step instructions and have a printable instruction book than I can download. The one I tried via the magazine 'Webuser' claimed to be 'user friendly' and was anything but 'user friendly'.I am not looking for 'free' sites but genuine on-line firms.Any help from my age group would be especially welcome, but all help from anyone of any age would be most welcomed! Thank you very much indeed for all your help in advance.Alan.
