Whenever I download anything DAP 8 says that it is not the default download manager. Then it asks to set it default. When clicked on yes it says your browser needs to be restarted. Then the download starts. In every download this happens. My OS is WIndows XP Pro SP2

it is there in the DAP options. you can choose it to set DAP as default. Also unselect the 'check if DAP is your default download manager at startup' sort of option

If what Nitin mentioned does not fix the problem,then reinstall the DAP and set it as default when it gives you the option,this will solve the problem.
