Currently .net is kicking up a storm and many organisations are treating C# as the defacto language. Nearly everywhere I look, companies are migrating to .net
Java is still holding its position though.

C and assembler. Neither, I was a programmer for over 19 years, and eventually they will want to hire someone younger and with cheaper health insurance premiums than you.
