Software - August 2006

I have created a cd that I want to publish, I want to take it to a company so they can copyright it and reserve it and whatever they have to do, so they can put it in the market so people can buy it. Where am i supposed to go? What are the steps I should follow? Thank you all.

The icon for the connection/battery (bottom right of laptop) to my laptop has disappeared. Can anyone tell me why and how to get it back. Many thanks

I shot some video with a canon powershot, however the camera was turned vertically. Upon uploading this video to my computer, the video plays as if the camera is held normally (sideways in this instance) I need to find software that will allow me to turn it as you would a pic in photoshop. This would be particularly useful if it's a downloadable program. Any ideas?

I use windows xp home edition i downloaded Mailwasher but the programe says the authentication failed for account work, i tried to change this to personal then mailwasher said Bad Username or Password. I would be grateful for any help with this matter. B. Clark

I have Win XP & Paintshop Pro 8 software. My 'windows viewer ' doesn't seem to work. I can see a thumbnail image at the bottom of the email as an attachment.

If click on it or click 'view' it gives me a dialogue box with 'download attachment' or 'back to message' so i click to download.

Another dialogue box comes up with a Paint Shop Pro 8 icon & PSP as 'Type' as well. The reference on the photo says it comes from UK.f250mail.yahoo.com.

When I click to 'download' or 'open' it goes to my PSP software & tries to open the image but stops, comes up with a message 'the specified file cannot be identified as a supported type' & the only option is to click 'OK'.

It goes back to the 'virus scan results' dialogue box where you either 'download' or 'go back to message'. So I give up & go back to message - where i started from! The size of the image is 59kb -anybody with any suggestions PLEEEASE????

I have WinRAR software in my computer. I downloaded an online movie which has 8 files and in RAR format. I am able to open/extract the files using WinRar software; but I cannot view them as a video! Please help me how to view....

I tried freeware text-to-speech which makes wave files, and then a wave to mp3 converter. But the final mp3 comes out ultra fast (to the point of not understandable). Would like an all in one software.

i know there are R, RW,-R,+R...and ive read the labels and didnt see any differences? my drive take RW but i used an R and it still worked..so whats the deal? why do they make the different disks then?

I want my powerpoint presentation to open and start showing the show automatically once the file is opened. Ideally i would like it to wear people could not even see the slides except when it is running in slide show mode.

i downloaded a copie of Commview the other day but it was a trial, when it ended i errased it and downloaded another real copie of the program, but whenever i try to open it it says "this trial version has expired" and i have downloaded this program like a dozen times from a dozen different places what can i do to make it work

My computer's word files say that it is to be installed to use word. And a file PROPLUS.msi is needed to install which is in a CD Microsoft office XP with frontpage, but I lost that CD. Is any other way to download it from microsoft.com
