I use windows xp home edition i downloaded Mailwasher but the programe says the authentication failed for account work, i tried to change this to personal then mailwasher said Bad Username or Password. I would be grateful for any help with this matter. B. Clark

I'm using Windows XP 64-bit and Mailwasher so I don't think that the operating system is the problem. Did you just install mailwaasher - did it work before? If it has been working until today, it may only be a server problem. I have found when there is a problem with the server, I can't get into my email accounts and I get the same messages that you get (regardless of whether I use mailwasher or outlook express). Just wait a few hours and try again.
If that doesn't work, shut down your computer and restart. There are certain key files that load on startup that are required for the internet connection and if these programs close for some reason (e.g. memory problems) then you will get the same errors.
