It is probably a video your Media Player doesn't understand.
Download VideoLAN
It can open 99% of all video files...even if they are the incorrect format.

When you open the file, using Win RAR, you need to remeber to extract it, just viewing the contents of the folder won't help. Try opening the file with Quicktime and Windows Media Player, if that doesn't work, some files may open with Real player. Also search for the file extension of the video, which may help you to find a player that can read it.

Step 1, you need to put the files together.
- You may have files like movie.r01, movie.r02, etc.
- Use WinRAR to point to the directory where these files are located. WinRAR usually find the files.
Step 2, let WinRAR create the movie.rar file.
Step 3, double click the movie.rar file.
- This is a compressed file.
- It will have a movie file within it (movie.mpg, movie.avi, etc).
- Extract this file to your desktop or some other place.
Hopefully, media player or whatever player you have will be able to play the file, otherwise you will need to get additional codec(s).
Enjoy!
