when system runs "Xwindows" monitor goes to standby mode.
in the text-mode when I run "X",again monitor goes to standby mode.
I dont know whether the problem is my monitor or graphic card.
When I run "Yast" in the text-mode, when I choose "hardware->graphic card
and monitor" it didn't respond.

what shoud I do?

ive followed instructions go to tools,internet options,advanced then they say click to enable java but theres nothing with the word java in it! its drivivg me crazy i used to play games!

Does anyone know such a program which is completely and totaly which allows you to burn video files on your computer to dvd discs and also allows you to rip files for other dvd discs?

While organising folder I came across a resitriction in Windows where there is a maximum limit to the number of characters that can be used in creating folders, subfolders and then file names. Haven't yet got an idea of what the limit is but was wondering if anyone knew.

I can't open Word at all through shortcuts, or any document or anything. I get the error message "This file does not have associated with it for performing this action Create a association in the Folder Options control panel"
I have tried folder options that doesn't work I have tried repairing Word through the installation disk,I have checked for viruses, etc. Word worked before this isn't a new installation. I can't open my Search nor my System restore as well. I am at a lost on what to try next! does anyone have an idea what I can do? thanks
