why doesnt applet load when trying to play games?

ive followed instructions go to tools,internet options,advanced then they say click to enable java but theres nothing with the word java in it! its drivivg me crazy i used to play games!

install java

You may need to update on explorer.I had this problem once and it was fine after updating flash on explorer.Go to tools,manage add ons and check to see if any need updating.
