I would really like a program that works and is free to yahoo users.

Report them as spam so that yahoo's filter learns that they're junk.

nothing is free in this world, if u are yahoo email user,
block as spam so it 'll not repeat from same person or compnay
thereare lot of antispam software available on net like norton antispam some come free with along antivirus
try www.download.com for free antispam softwares

As u are using yahoo mail, You have to use their spam system (You don't have other choices).
If you are paid user and have POP3 access Macafee anti-spam is the best i have used.
