I need to know how to install the driver and do all of what it is that I have to do..........It is not as easy as taking them from a digital camera.

I would like to know the following details about Unix:-

•Structure: design of the operating system

•Process: type and management of supported process
oProcess Management – Single task, multitasks etc…
oType of process – process, thread, etc…
oProcess scheduling – round robin, FIFO, multiple queue, etc…
oAPI – Posix, Win32, etc…
•Memory: information about main and virtual memory
oAllocation: fixed, segmentation, paging etc…
oPage replacement: FIFO, LRU, etc…
oAddressing

Make it as simple as possible please. I just want the technical terms and uses and such. The commands and such are not necessary. Thank you for your time.

I have 600 pics, numbered chronologically, but want a slideshow for 200 of them. To save 500 MB of disk space, I created an alias for each of the 200 using meaningful names, such as EiffelLookingUp instead of P10000463.JPG.

When I feed the slideshow folder name to the slideshow tool in Preview (or Photobase 2.5, for that matter), the program reads in only the 15 raw JPGs in the folder, and ignores the 185 aliases. Naming the aliases with ".JPG" seems to make no difference.

I have 1 hour before relatives arrive to view the slideshow.

The only solution I can think of is to manually copy each original file to one with a meaningful name, which would take hours.

I would happily write a shell script, but Unix sees the aliases as empty files (I think), so not easy to automate. Thank you.

Google earth is a program from the google compnay, which allows you to view the entire planet and its surface. It does this presumably by assembling thousands of satellite photos of the planet. The detail of some areas, eg big cities is extraordinary and you can see what people have in their gardens!

It can be great fun looking at the earth, but its an odd experience don't you think, also is it a bit intrusive?

ALSO where abouts is AREA 51 , I want to look at it!!!!!!!!
