My laptop went crazy and instead of trying to fix it I would just like to delete windows and start fresh.

Please help me check it out coz it's driving me nuts knowing that someone is spying on me even when i log in as invisible!! And please do not tell me things like get a new yahoo id or go try out myself coz my acc is not Admin, so i cant install Buddy Spy!! And why would you want to know if your frens are online since they don want you to see???

everytime i download something theres a possibily of a new virus, worm or spyware that enters the pc. What do i do to prevent this? I always upgrade my antivirus but it seems futile...Help!!!

i am wanting to wipe my hard drive off so i can reload windows can anyone tell me a good free program that will do this for me ,i am wanting to upgrade from 95 but i am haveing troubles, so i just want to start with a clean hard drive since i cant reload a newer version of windows .i only have a 2 gig hard drive (yes i know it is small but thats all i have for now ) this is an older pc i have had and i want to upgrade the windows so i can add an internet pci adapter and 95 isnt new enough so i want to upgrade

I want to download open office but I have the dreaded dial up and even worse it's Netzero. Netzero likes to disconnect after 4 hours is there a way I can stop this I really want this download. I'm getting cable internet very soon so don't suggest it.

My scanner was working before until my office caught a problem and I had to reinstall it. But the problem is my office installer doesn't have the scan utility feature. And then I realized that my scanner doesn't have a software on its own to allow me to do the scanning. I mean, it did had an installer but only for its driver. So my problem now is how can I scan?

I had this friend who did just that. Pulled out the plug while windows was shutting down (I think he just can't wait any longer coz itz taking the system too long to shut down). And then the next time he reboot the computer couldn't load windows. And so he complains that his computer didn't had that problem before even if the power suddenly failed while he was playing or browsing the web, etc...

ok lets say you have a software and it says it requires xp but you dont have xp you have 98. is their a way to bypass that and get that specific software to go through anyway is their a way aroud the compadibility issue?

I'm looking for something basic, without all the bells and whistles. I need to be able to incorporate this application into my website's design. Basically, I need to be able to create categories and then enter faq's for each category. I dont need to provide anything else. Thanks in advance.

When i open the control panel and choose the first option of "change or remove programs" the programs on the list appear in alphabitcal order and right below the A list this empty gap extends about a page lenght and then the rest of the programs appear normally as i scroll down. If i click on the gap it hilights with the color blue as if it is one peice, but no text!!! By the way, I have no problems running the laptop wich is an NEC Versa FP520 and i use XP professional. But i sure like to find out how to get rid of it or why it's there?
