My laptop went crazy and instead of trying to fix it I would just like to delete windows and start fresh.

ReMemBer to do a backup of all you person data. And also bacbup your window Serial KEY , hareware drivers any other setting and config.

Reboot your PC with your Window OS CD-ROM. Do a delete partition than carry on with the on screen instruction to complete your installation, you will ask to format your harddisk as you go along.

You don't have to delete everything, just do a fresh install, you keep lot of settings that way and it's a quicker recovery. You could also just put in the XP disk and attempt a repair. Whatever way, good luck!

Format the Hard Drive and re-install the OS. If your's is a HP Laptop try performing Recovery.

1. Copy your personal files to other drive as a backup of ur work
2. Format the C drive,
3. Reinstall Windows
(Note: When you put Windowx XP2 CD & run, it will ask you doe the drive path to install the windows & also ask whether you want to format the c:, there u first select the c: to format then install Windows XP2)

To delete it you have to get a cd with another program *windows* then you insert into the computer and it will lead you!

mgarcia_80003 to remove your XP u need to format the hard drive. Once you formated the drive you must INSTALL other operating system.

either uninstall or use another operating system to install.
that will format your xp and install the next os.. ok.
