In dxdiag I couldn't find it.

this is a pretty widely used tool that works for every processor i've ever heard of.

it's called CPU-Z and it's pretty commonly used throught the industry.

if you know, for example, that intel made your chip, they have their own utility.

AMD also has theirs.

but even the AMD guys refer ya to the CPU-Z product.

INTEL has CPU ID program that identifies all processors..
or you can try RIGHTMARK CPU CLOCK or any of the other software benchmark programs.
AMD also has a CPU ID PROGRAM , dont know about MACS good luck.

DX DIAG seems to have very limited info anyway..mostly Direct x and some other hardware reports

u find it written on the processor...and no..there is no software to find it out

try windows taskbar > performance tab
