How to remove a disk driver from a computer?

Need to remove a Zip software driver to make that slot available for a hard disk.

You can remove that from your device manager..go into control panel>systems icon>hardware tab>device manager..Scroll down the list until you see the zip drive listed..right click on it then click uninstall or,remove

Just use "Add Remove Hardware" from the Control panel and select the Zip Drive and remove it.. After that put the hard disk in it's place..
