I want to get Adobe Photo Shop and Protools for my Compaq. What do I need for High performance?

I know they both take alot of RAM and CPU. They will be the ONLY programs loaded onto the computer. So how much RAM, hard drive, cache and what processor should I have.

Well, I know what the minimum requirements are, but I'm talking about HIGH performance requirements.

Usually, the software will give you the specs of what you need right on the box. If you can tell me which version, I might be able to find out onlinel. There's a couple of the Photo Shop's out there, also what kind of system windows or mac?
