can anyone explain to me in laymans terms, i am new to the movie download thing .I have managed to download a movie from isohunt and can watch it on my laptop but can't figure out how to burn to dvd,i have a dvd rw,ihave nero but when it says add files to project , it keeps saying file doesn't exist,is there an easier dvd burner to use, bloody thing is driving me mad! thanks ,please instructions in very very easy to follow steps

I have an old desktop computer (like 10 years old), which does not work anymore. How can I dispose it? Can I just throw it into a trash container? Or are there any rules for recycling it?

I have the SD card inserted into the computer, but when I go to My Computer and click on the Removable Disk (F:) it just has a DCIM folder and a MISC folder and both are empty so there aren't any pictures to view. I want to add these pics to my computer to email, store, etc and don't know what to do.

if I plug the headphones into the output for the speakers, they start doing the popping sound also. So it seems to be something wrong with that jack. I have a realtek soundcard (i think) I only just got this computer a few days ago, what can I do to fix this problem? - I dont really want to take it back to the shop....

They play really quiet and make a buzz and the volume is up all the way. I even stuck in head phones and they did the same thing any Idea what is wrong.

i have used the dvd burning programs alcohol 120% ,dvd decrypter. and nero they all say i dont have enough space on my 4.7gb dvd-r I belive the movies i am trying to burn is 2 hours long, The programs allows me to save the image on my hard drive but will not allow me to burn the image on disk it always sez not enough disk space. This makes no sense to me , am i supposed to compress it someway? or format my dvd-r if so how can i make it fit? any suggestions?

i think my computer crashed or something right now im using my bro's computer every time i want to use my computer there is a message that reads

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\system32\hal.dll.
please re-install a copy of the above file.

i know i have to re install windows but what i dont know is how to do it if i cant log in to windows how is my computer going to read the cd. i have a dell. pls i really need help.

System recovery wont complete without this file.I have a hp pavilion vx74 computer and it doesnt come with recovery discs it only comes with a recovery partition.if anyone has the same computer and can help please im or email.

I have WinXP on my C: drive and Win98 on D: Recently I re-installed WinXP. Now my C: file system is NTFS and that for D: is FAT32. The OS choices menu that was flashed at the system startup is no longer displayed. How do I get that option back???

i have recently been receiving some pretty disgusting emails. the subject is always something perverse but spelled oddly, inside the emails they contain a link, which stupidly i clicked on, only once, only to find it is some sick porn. as the time goes on, the subjects have become increasingly more disgusting, which has now concerned me as i do not wish to be involved in something immoral and illegal. i noticed that the majority of the time they have not even been addressed to me, but to people with the same three beginning characters of my hotmail address. i junk them immediately but i am getting fed up as i have no interest in looking at this content and have never signed up for any either. any ideas????
